4 Maintenance
This chapter contains all the necessary information and instructions to perform equipment
preventive and basic maintenance. The routine maintenance and tools needed for maintenance
procedures are described. If you have any questions or need help, email us at support@brinter.com.
The maintenance instructions are written for service technicians who comply with the following
requirements:
➔ Have completed a training course in the service and maintenance of the equipment as
given by the service personnel from the equipment supplier.
➔ Have an understanding of the operation of the equipment.
4.1 Service Responsibilities
Preventive maintenance of the equipment is the responsibility of the customer. The customer is
expected to perform preventative maintenance according to the schedule to lessen the likelihood of
the equipment failing and to maintain high productivity. During the warranty period, preventive
maintenance, repair, and/or calibration by unauthorized staff could result in loss of warranty.
Warranty is void if the seal is broken or removed.
4.2 Special Tools
Special tools are not needed. Standard Allen wrench etc., is sufficient for the maintenance.
4.3 Recommended Cleaning Agents
The following cleaning agents are recommended for the cleaning of the equipment:
➔ General-purpose cleanser (e.g., WÜRTH INDUSTRY CLEANER, Art. No. 0893-140). Do not
use any abrasive cleaners or solvents.
➔ Isopropyl alcohol.
➔ Antistatic cleanser, such as Softcare Antistatic, for cleaning the UV protected window
panes to remove the static electricity.
