7.3.3 Cleaning of the Stator
Required cleaning materials:
Nozzle brush with plastic-coated wire, e.g., nylon (diameter of 5 mm)
Cleaning solvent, e.g., alcohol, isopropanol, or nitro thinners (depending on the printed
material)
Safety equipment (protective clothing, safety glasses, protective gloves)
Wet the nozzle brush and stator with a cleaning solvent.
Clean the stator with the nozzle brush. Do not leave the stator in the cleaning solvent for an extended
period.
After cleaning, rinse the stator thoroughly with water and then let it dry or blow out with compressed
air.
After cleaning all the dissembled parts, assemble the print head in reverse order to the process
described above.
