7.1 Print Head Overview
The principle of operation in Visco Tool print heads (Figure 3 & Figure 4) is based on the endless
piston principle belonging to the group of rotating displacement pumps. The heated version has a
heating function enabling a constant temperature from RT to +66 °C throughout the print head and
the syringe barrel containing the printable material. Visco Tool is compatible with various commercial
and noncommercial materials ranging from low to high viscosity; however, if the printed material
breaks the tool, it is not covered by the warranty.
