9.38 Carriage Motor ASSY
(1) Release the lock of the Guard film spring and remove the Encoder strip guard film.

(2) Remove the Belt tension spring and the Guard film spring.
(3) Remove the two screws (SCREW BIND M3x6) and the screw (TAPTITE CUP S
M3x6) and take the Carriage motor ASSY off the CR frame ASSY.
(4) Remove the two screws (SCREW BIND M3x6) and take the Carriage motor ASSY
off the Motor bracket.
