Operatingthemachineinhighaltitude
Airdensitydecreasesasaltitudeorambienttemperature
increases.Asaresultofthis,theengine’smaximumout-
put,qualityofexhaustgas,temperatureleveland,inex-
tremecases,startingbehavior,areimpaired.Enginecan
beusedataltitudesupto3000m(9843ft)andtempera-
turesupto50°C(122°F)formobileoperations.Iftheen-
ginewillbeoperatedundersevereconditions(athigher
altitudesortemperatures)contacttheCASEDealerfor
furtherguidelines.
Observethefollowingrecommendations:
1.Maintainthecorrectcoolantlevelinthecoolantreser-
voir.
2.Checktheconditionofthecoolerplugbeforestarting
andreplaceitifnecessary.
3.Carefullycleantheradiator,coolerandtheengine.
4.Checktheconditionofalldrivebelts.
5.Uselubricantswiththerecommendeddegreeofvis-
cosity.
