Loaderattachmentsafetystrut
Locatedontheleft-handsideoftheloaderattachment,
thissafetystrutenablestheloaderattachmenttobe
lockedintheraisedpositionformaintenanceorservicing
theunit.
Lockedposition
1.Completelyraisetheloaderattachment.
2.Stoptheengineandremovethestarterswitchkey.
3.Removethesplitpin(1)andthelockpin(2).

4.Placethestrut(3)onthecylinderrodandinstallthe
pin(2)andthesplitpin(1)backintotheholesinthe
strut.
NOTICE:Itismandatorytoinstallthesafetystrutwhen
carryingoutanyoperationrequiringtheloaderattach-
menttobeintheraisedposition.
5.Lowertheloaderattachmentuntilthesafetystrutis
rmlyagainstthecylinder.

Unlockedposition
1.Completelyraisetheloaderattachmentandstopthe
engine.
2.Removethesplitpin(1)andthelockpin(2).
3.Removethestrut(3)fromtheattachmentandinstall
thepin(1)andthesplitpin(2)backintotheholesin
thestrut.
4.Starttheengineandlowertheloaderattachment.
