2.Placeacontainerwithsufcientcapacityunderthera-
diatordraincock.

3.Unscrewandremovethecap(2)fromtheradiator(1).
CAUTION
Burnhazard!
Hotcoolantcansprayoutifyouremovethe
llercapwhilethesystemishot.Afterthesys-
temhascooled,turnthellercaptotherst
notchandwaitforallpressuretoreleasebe-
foreproceeding.
Failuretocomplycouldresultinminorormod-
erateinjury.

4.Installadrainpipeonthedraincock(3)andputthe
otherendintoacontainer.
5.Opentheradiatordraincock(3)anddrainthecoolant.
6.Afterthesystemiscompletelydrained,closethedrain
cock(3).

7.Rinsethesystemwithfreshwater,drainagainandthen
llthesystem
NOTE:ifyouuseadetergentsolutionforrinsing,follow
theinstructionsforpreparingthesolution.Afterdraining
thedetergentsolution,rinseagainwithfreshwater.
8.Checktheconditionofthehoses,connectionsandthe
waterpump.
9.Makesurethattheexternalsurfacesoftheengineand
theradiatorareclean.
