NOTICE:Readandfamiliarizeyourselfwiththeinstructionsandwarningsshowninthismanualbeforeoperatingthe
machine.
Beforeusingthemachine,someprecautionsarenecessary.Checkthelevels(engineoil,hydraulicuidandcoolant
uid)andmakesurethatthevariousuidscorrespondtotheconditionsofuse.Carryoutthedailymaintenance
operations.Walkroundthemachine,lookforanyleaksandinspectthehoses.Tightenorreplaceanyitemsas
required.
Beforeundertakingroadtravel,unlocktheattachments,completelyraisethestabilizersandinstallthesafetysystems
requiredbytheregulations.Beforeroadtravelornightwork,checkthatthelightingandsignalingsystemsarecor-
rectlyoperatingandcorrectlyadjusted.Checktheconditionofthetyresandthetyrepressure.Cleanthestepsand
accesshandles.Thepresenceofoil,mudorice(winter)cancauseaccidents.Makesuretheyarealwaysclean.
Cleanorreplacesafetydecalswhicharenolongerlegible.
Makesurethattheengineguardisclosedandlatchedcorrectly.Removeanythingwhichmighthindervisibility.Clean
thewindowsandtherearviewmirrors.Makesurethatnoobjectsortoolsareleftonthemachineorintheoperator’s
compartment.Makesureyouknowhowtoevacuatethemachine(emergencyexitviatheright-handdoor)incaseexit
throughtheleft-handdoorisnotpossible.Makesurethattheright-handdoorisnotlocked.Makesurethatnobody
isunderoronthemachine.Theoperatorshouldbetheonlypersononthemachine.Makesurethatnobodyiswithin
theworkingrangeofthemachine.
