Active protocol: it allows to select and set which of the following protocols
present in the machine must be used for the communication
with the computer.
Set PC port flow control to Xon/Xoff.
CIM type protocol to send data and formats according to
the specifications defined by CIM.
Pound Pound type protocol to send data and formats for
applications based on the specifications defined by
the Pound Pound standard.
Xon/Xoff Xon/Xoff type protocol to send only data using the X
and Y coordinates defined by SETUP.
Multi Protocol protocol known also as Multi Embosser, with a
machine selection command and the sending of data
and format.
Stored Default type protocol to send only data using a format
present in LCD EDIT and selected by setup.
Stored Selected type protocol to send only data using a format
present in LCD EDIT and selected by a text in the
text string sent to the embosser.
1 Char: it displays the values of the commands used in the protocols
as alphabetical characters.
2 Code: it displays the values of the commands used in the protocols
as decimal numeric code
Continuous Xon transmi it allows to send the control character Xon continuously
with intervals that can be set between 0 sec and 99 sec.
The set value 0 (zero), disables the function.
Start of Text it allows to define the Start of Text character
End of Text it allows to define the End of Text character
Field separator it allows to define the character to be used as field separator
between the data sent in application programs developed by
other users.
US code opener it allows to define the character to open the command “US
code” that enables to select with 7 digits a specific
coordinate of the tag. This character is valid only for the
Xon/Xoff protocol.
US code OCR opener it allows to define the opening character that identifies the
OCR type character font. This character is valid only for the
Xon/Xoff protocol.
US code OCR closer it allows to define the closing character that identifies the
OCR type character font. This character is valid only for the
Xon/Xoff protocol.
