4.16 MULTICARD TOOLS
•
Security: it manages a users’ hierarchy, headed by
a pre-defined user with administrator rights.
•
Menu: the user interface is provided by a toolbar to
manage the project which stores the processing job
data. The toolbar allows to access the dialogue
window through which all the other tools are
configured.
•
Hardware Info: it sets up the communication
protocol terminators between Multicard and
machine.
•
Toolbar: it allows to easily access the tools.
•
Job creation: Multicard is provided by a guided
procedure to configure the job.
•
Sprite: is the basic graphic object for the definition
the card layout.
•
Barcode: is the basic graphic object for the
creation of the barcode on the card layout.
•
Data Linking: it allows connection to any data
source.
•
Rowset Manager: it allows to select a group of
records from the database.
•
Database creation: it generates a database in mdb
format.
•
Field Engine: to set up the format of the Multicard
system variable.
•
Options: it allows to custom the connection to the
database file, the background colours of the
graphic interface and to manage the error
messages.
•
Automatic production control: to check if the
record printing was successful or not.
•
Free Parameters: to avoid format imperfections of
database data during printing of bar code and
inserter letter.
