5.3 MANUAL COMMAND KEYPAD
The CIMTERMO thermographic module has a key pad
which the operator can use for off-line card handling
commands. These functions are especially useful for
maintenance operations such as the following:
•
Cleaning the module, especially the card pull
rollers.
•
Winding the ribbon after changing it or to place it in
the best position for printing (tension, avoiding
damaged areas, etc.).
•
Mechanical checking of the main actuators (card
pull motor, ribbon winding motor, head lifting
solenoid valve, cleaning ribbon movement motor,
cleaner card shift motor, solenoid valve for moving
the cleaning roller towards the cleaning tape).
•
Solving mechanical errors during the card
processes (jamming), etc.
The key pad also has 4 different-coloured LEDs for
having immediate information about the state of the
module.
