A.13 THERMOGRAFIC SETUP
This section contains the information about the settings
for the thermographic unit. It may be necessary to
modify certain parameters to improve or optimise the
printing process.

Current Set-up number
The user can save up to 3 print module Set-ups, each of
which corresponds to different print quality and
performance levels so that different settings can be
used in accordance with the requirements of the current
JOB.
HEAD RESISTOR
(1400...2100) (1800)
Head resistance value
The resistance value described on the Kyocera head
must be set.
BLACK CONTRAST FOR KRESIN
(100...500)

Heating time, or contrast, of the Black for K_resin.
ribbon.
Must be set by running CardTest 41, checking that the
Rectangle is completely black from the first line and
without excessive contrast which causes image offset.
The higher the value, the higher the contrast.
BLACK CONTRAST FOR COLOR

Heating time, or contrast, of the Black for Colour ribbon.
Must be set by running a Job with colour ribbon and
checking the Contrast of the BMP printed with black
panel. The higher the value, the higher the contrast.
