1.17 RESIDUAL RISKS AND DANGEROUS
AREAS
The machine is fully protected by covers and safe for
the operator.
The upper (1) and front (2) covers are equipped with
safety guards which stop the machine when opened.
ATTENTION! THE STOP IS NOT IMMEDIATE AS THE
MACHINE MUST COMPLETE THE CURRENT
MOVEMENT (EG. FLIP-OVER ROTATION, TROLLEY,
ETC.).

Following there is a description of the potentially

dangerous areas when covers are opened:
•
be carefull when opening the unloading unit
cover (5) during machine functioning, as it is not
5
equipped with safety guards which stop the
machine and there are moving parts which eject the
card
•
trolley (4): risk of crushing in the area of the RH and
LH stroke end
•
drum (5): risk of entanglement due to drum rotation;
risk of crushing in correspondence of the punches
•
tipper (6): risk of burning. The unit can reach 200

°C even when the machine is not working. Never
introduce your hands in the openings. Be careful
when removing jammed cards in this area.
•
flip-over (7) area: risk of crushing due to rotation
ATTENTION! KEEP DRESSES, JEWELS AND HAIR
FAR FROM ANY MOVING OR HAZARDOUS PARTS.
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN WORKING CLOSE TO
THE MOVING PARTS. BEFORE STARTING ANY
OPERATIONS, MAKE SURE THE SAFETY GUARDS
OF THE COVERS FUNCTION CORRECTLY AND
THAT NO ONE HAS ACCESS TO THE MACHINE
CONTROL SOFTWARE.
