Making a telephone interconnect call

When the
telephone
subscriber
answers, they will
hear a short pre-
recorded message
informing them
that this is a radio
telephone call.
This is followed
by a single tone of
one second
duration heard by
both parties.
You may now use
the Radiophone in
the normal
communication
mode.
The indicator light
flickers whilst talking.
On completing the call,
you must send a
disconnect message
(refer to Sending a
disconnect message on
page 9-6).
You may now resume
normal Radiophone
operation.
Note: The telephone number is erased from memory once power has been turned
off.
