11-8 Outback HF Radiophone
PTT timer
This facility stops the Radiophone from being left on in the transmit state. If the
transmit time exceeds the PTT timer setting, the Radiophone reverts to the receive
mode and an error message is displayed.
The timer is set at the factory to 10 minutes. You may turn this facility off, or vary the
time, in five minute intervals, between 5 and 35 minutes.
