Displays the difference in absolute centimetres between the
on-line heave value and the iHeave value. The coloured
progress bar reflects the extent of this difference to the
current Alarm Setup.
Grey : Not able to determine the alarm status, probably due
to iHeave value not being available.
Green : The On-line heave value is within the specification
defined by the Alarm Setup parameters.
Red : The On-line heave value is out-with the specification
defined by the Alarm Setup parameters.
30 Second Period : Sets the filter period to 30 seconds for
playback mode only
70 Second Period : Sets the filter period to 70 seconds for
playback mode only
5.6.5 iHeave Alarm Setup
The Setup Alarm button allows you to define the alarm specifications. The iHeave Alarm Setup
Area allows you to specify conditions and limits. The heave alarm is triggered if these
conditions and limits are exceeded.
Figure 106: iHeave Alarm Setup
You can enable or disable the alarm by switching iHeave Alarm between On and Off.
You can choose to apply a limit on the percentage difference between iHeave and on-
line heave and also an absolute limit in terms of centimetres.
NOTE: If both of these conditions are set (by checking both checkboxes) then both the
conditions have to be exceeded in order for an alarm to trigger.
