5. Select OK to close the Connection Properties window
6. Select Close the Local Area Connection Status window.
7. Start MOTION Control to check if the connection could be established successful.
6.4.2.3 Testing The Network Connection
1. To check the network settings on a Windows PC:
Open a Command Line (Start > in the run field type cmd, hit Enter)
Type ipconfig -all and press Enter.

Firewall network security applications can prevent successful communication between the PC
and the F180R System. If no connection can be established then you should switch off any
firewall services that your PC is running. Only do this if you are sure that there is no external
security risk to your PC from switching off the firewall. Seek further advice if necessary.
2. PING PC to the F180R System
On the command line you have opened in the first step type ping 195.0.0.180 (or the IP
address that you have set on the F180R System). If successful you should see the following
results:
