Corrosion Prevention
There are no specific corrosion prevention measures, however, we recommend that the
wetpod is washed down with fresh water after immersion. The IMU inside the pod is isolated
from the stainless steel bracket so that it does not act as the sacrificial anode for the bracket.
The assembly uses a jointing compound between the connector and pod, and on the screws,
which inhibits corrosion. There are also replaceable inserts in the POD rim to prevent the
jacking screws from damaging the anodized surface.
