Preparing the Mounting Brackets
and Slide Rail Assemblies
Each pair of mounting brackets, with attached slide rail assemblies supports one
rack-mountable server.

Each slide rail assembly consists of an outer bracket rail and an inner server rail
(see the following figure). These pieces can be separated; the bracket rails
attach to the rack mounting brackets (shown in the previous figure), and the
server rails attach to the sides of the server chassis.
