In the HDD No. list, select an HDD that you want to configure. Step 2
In the Set To list, select the HDD type, and then click Execute.
Read/Write: Read HDD data and save data to HDD.
Read only: Only read the HDD data.
Redundant: If there are more than two HDDs are connected to the Device, one
HDD can be set to the redundancy HDD for record backup.
Format: Format the HDD data.
User Define: SD card is regarded as customized. HDD can also be set as
customized disk if needed. The customized disk can only be used to store the
multi-channel view recorded files. For details about enabling multi-channel
recording, see "4.2.1.4.3 Configuring Zero-Channel Settings."
Click Alarm Set to configure the settings for handling HDD abnormalities. For
details, see "4.3.4.3 Configuring System Event Settings."
Click Alarm Release to clear alarm output status.
Click OK. Step 3
4.3.7.2 Viewing HDD Information
Select Main Menu > INFO > HDD, the HDD information interface is displayed. See Figure 4-99.

Click View recording times to view the recorded files in order by time; click View type and
capacity to return to the HDD type and capacity information interface.
