Steps
1. In reverse sequential order (4 > 3 > 2 > 1) , loosen the four captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system board.
The screw numbers are etched on the heat sink.
2. Lift the heat sink off the system board.

Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
NOTE:
If either the system board or the heat sink is replaced, use the thermal grease that is provided in the kit to ensure
that thermal conductivity is achieved.
