 Examples for the occurrence and the sequence of ports in the .portTable:

a) Single switch module installed in the first slot:

Index 1: switch module in the first slot, primary input port ("In A")

Index 2: switch module in the first slot, secondary input port ("In B")

Index 3: "logical" switch module, primary input port

Index 4: "logical" switch module, secondary input port

Index 5: switch module in the first slot, output port ("Out")

Index 6: "logical" switch module, output port

b) Two switch modules installed:

Index 1: switch module in the first slot, primary input port ("In A")

Index 2: switch module in the first slot, secondary input port ("In B")

Index 3: switch module in the second slot, primary input port ("In A")

Index 4: switch module in the second slot, secondary input port ("In B")

Index 5: switch module in the first slot, output port ("Out")

Index 6: switch module in the second slot, output port ("Out")

c) One switch module installed in the first slot and

one distribution amplifier module installed in the second slot:
