Adjusting the spring pressure

Loosen nut 4.
–
Adjust the spring pressure with core pin in nut 4.
–
Tighten nut 4.
Adjusting the guide plates aside the needles
–
Carefully align the guide plates 1 with a pair of pliers.
Positioning of the spring loaded downholder 11
–
Loosen the screw 6.
–
Shift the threaded bush 7 upward or downward.
Note:
The additional spring loaded downholder should be positioned
slightly below the guide plates.
–
Tighten the screw 6.
Adjusting the spring pressure of the additional downholder
–
Loosen the screw 8.
–
Shift the screw.
upward = less pressure
downward = more pressure
–
Tighten screw 8.
