13.6.2 Basic position of the turning device
The function of the turning gear is only guaranteed when the gear is
adjusted as shown in the right picture.
The basic adjustment of the turning device must be done after every
exchange of the toothed belt or after a wrong adjustment.
First adjustment
Loosen the screws 2 at the toothed belt wheel 1.
Turn the cylinder clockwise until the value of 63° is reached.

axle A2.
Tighten the screws 2 at the toothed belt wheel.
Adjusting the position of lever 16 as to the axles A1, A2 and A3
Loosen screw 3.
Turn toothed belt wheel 5 and lever 16 in such a way that there is a
distance of 90 mm between the outer diameter of the toothed belt
wheel 5 and the needle sleeve 17.
The axle A1 should lie in the middle of axle A2
Tighten screw 3.
Adjusting the stop screws 18 and 19
Loosen the counter nut from screw 18.
Set the screw to 16.5 mm.
Ti ghten the counter nut.
Loosen the counter nut from screw 19.
Set the screw 19 to 14 mm.
Ti ghten the counter nut.
