Correction of the sw ivelling width
Loosen screw 2 (illustration on the top left corner of page 123).
Adjust the lower stationary flap clamp 3 in transverse direction by
turning the toothed wheel 1 (illustration on the top left corner of
page 123).
Tighten screw 2.
Make the fine adjustment with stop screw 4 and counter nut 5.
Standard checking
The distance between the stationary flap c lamp and the fabric sliding
sheet should amount to approx. 1-3 mm.
Correction of the low ering depth
Loosen counternut 9. (illustration on the top left corner of
page 122)
Turn the stop screw 10. (illustration on the top left corner of
page 122)
Hint
The fabric must be easily displaceable.
Ti ghten counternut 9.
Align the flap clamp in longitudinal direction parallel to the fabric, if
required.
Adjusting the movable flap clamp
For a uniform and displacement-free clamping the point of the movable
clamp 1 should first strike the stationary clamp 2.
Set the clamping power with screw 8 (illustration at the bottom of
page 121).
The stationary c lamp must not bend down.
Align the movable clamp 1, if required.
Align the movable clamp in raised position as to the stationary
clamp.
