14.3 Adjusting the piping strip deflector
ATTENTION: Danger of collision
When processing single piping the deflector has to be adjusted
as to the edge of the wider sole of the single piping folder!
Standard checking
The deflector 2 avoids that the piping strip taken up by the pick-up
folder gets under the sole when the pick-up folder lowers. The edge of
the deflector has to be adjusted parallel to the sole with a distance of
approx. 5 mm.
Correction
Loosen the screws 1.
Adjust the deflector 2.
Tighten the screws 1 again.
