To interrupt sewing:
1. Release the foot pedal in pedal position 0:
The machine stops, needles and sewing feet are down.
To continue sewing:
1. Press the foot pedal forwards in pedal position +1:
The machine continues to sew.
To sew over thickened seams:
1. Switch on the elevated sewing foot stroke with the knee lever
( Setting quick stroke adjustment, p. 32).
To change the stitch length:
1. Switch on the 2nd stitch length using the key for the quick
function ( Quick functions on the keypad, p. 33).
To increase the thread tension:
1. Switch on the auxiliary thread tensioner using the key for the
quick function ( Quick functions on the keypad, p. 33).
To sew intermediate bar tacks:
1. Sew backwards with the stitch adjustment lever
( Sewing backwards with the stitch adjustment lever
(optional), p. 31)
or with the quick function key
( Quick functions on the keypad, p. 33).
To finish a seam:
1. Press the foot pedal back completely in pedal position -2:
The machine sews the end bar tack, and the thread cutter
cuts the thread.
The machine stops, needles and sewing feet are up.
2. Remove the sewing material.
