Setting hook thread tension

The hook thread tension is adjusted using the adjusting screw (7).
To increase the tension:
1. Turn the adjusting screw (1) clockwise.
To reduce the tension:
1. Turn the adjusting screw (1) counterclockwise.
5.6 Setting the thread regulator
The thread regulator determines the tension applied to guide the
needle thread around the hook.
WARNING
Risk of injury from needle and moving parts!
Switch off the sewing machine before adjusting
the hook thread tension.
