3.4 Viewing the unit’s setup
The
info
command displays information on the Control Unit’s status and setup. It shows
the system type, the RF watchdog status, the battery’s status, the available memory and the
COM port setups.
1. At the CU4> prompt, type
info
and press <Enter>. The following information appears
(exact system information depends on your setup):

2. Make sure this information is correct. Note that:
• In the “system” information, the mode indicated tells you which format is used to
send messages on the RF carrier. The message format corresponds to the system type,
and can be either OBP or multi-tier. The mode is preset in the factory and cannot be
changed.
• The number of customers is the total number of subscribers that the Control Unit can
support. The Control Unit can control over one million subscribers depending on the
capacity of your Control Unit. The capacity is preset in the factory and cannot be
changed.
• The Control Unit IV’s identification number (CU4 ID) corresponds to the “Head-end
code” that the previous model of the Control Unit uses.
