6.1 Function check
Make sure that all final checks have been completed before you commission your
measuring point:
• “Post-installation check” checklist → Page 34
• “Post-connection check” checklist → Page 47
6.2 Commissioning
6.2.1 Switching on the measuring device
Once the post-connection checks (see Page 47) have been successfully completed, it
is time to switch on the supply voltage. The device is ready for operation!
The measuring device performs a number of internal test functions after power-up. As
this procedure progresses the following sequence of messages appears on the local
display:
Normal measuring mode commences as soon as start-up completes. The volume flow
and the totalizer status appear on the display (HOME position).

If start-up fails, an error message indicating the cause is displayed.
