The functions of the Group CURRENT OUTPUT are not available unless the value 0 was entered in the
FIELDBUS ADDRESS function (Group COMMUNICATION, → Page 105)
CURRENT SPAN Use this function to define the current span. You can configure the current
output either in accordance with the NAMUR recommendation (max. 20.5 mA)
or for a maximum drive of 25 mA.

A = Current span (option)

➁ = Lower signal on alarm level
➂ = Upper signal on alarm level
➃ = Scaled full scale value

! Note!
• If the measured value exceeds the measuring range (as defined in the
function VALUE 20 mA, Page 98) a notice message is generated
(#351, current span)
• The current output's response to faults is defined in the central FAILSAFE
MODE function (Page 112).
