then install safety clip.
Quick Connect Coupling - Type I -
Disconnect
WARNING: REFER TO WARNINGS AT THE
BEGINNING OF THIS SECTION.
CAUTION: Do not use any tools. Use of tools may
cause a deformity in the coupling components
which can cause fuel leaks.
1. Relieve the fuel system pressure -- Refer to“Fuel
Pressure Relief” on page 31 of this section.
2. Press the fuel tube quick connect coupling button
and pull fuel tube to disconnect.
Quick Connect Coupling - Type I - Connect
1. Inspect for damage and clean fittings.
CAUTION: Make sure the fuel tube clicks into place
when installing the tube. To make sure that the fuel
tube is fully seated, pull on the tube.
2. Lubricate the o-ring seals with clean engine oil.
3. Install the quick connect coupling onto the tube until
it is fully seated.
4. Pull on the fitting to make sure it is fully engaged.
Quick Connect Coupling - Type II -
Disconnect

2. Release the locking tab on the quick connect
coupling.
3. Separate the quick connect coupling from the fitting
