Coolant Pump - Replacement
WARNING: REFER TO CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS SECTION.
1. Drain the cooling system -- Refer to“Draining the
Cooling System” on page 9 of this section.
2. Remove or disconnect components as necessary to
gain access to the coolant pump.
3. Remove the drive belt -- Refer to“Drive Belt -
Installation” on page 10 of this section.
4. Remove 3 bolts and coolant pump pulley.
5. Remove 3 bolts and coolant pump.
6. Reverse procedure to install:
• Lubricate coolant pump o-ring with clean coolant.
• Tighten coolant pump bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb-in)
• Tighten pulley bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft)
