Use this command to add or remove an unmanaged switch.
Command level: ecn330(config)#.
Syntax
ecn unmanaged-switch {add|remove} port <port> ip
<IP_address>
ecn unmanaged-switch remove port <port>
Arguments:
• unmanaged-switch add/remove – Add or remove an unman-
aged switch.
• port <port> - Only downlink ECN ports number 1-24 is al-
lowed.
• ip <IP_address> - The IP address of the unmanaged switch.
Default Settings
None.
Command Usage
The unmanaged-switch function is used to enable the ECN port for a 3
rd
party switch. Valid ECN ports are from port 1-24. The 3
rd
party switch must
be configured with the value listed in
Table 13 on page 115. For more de-
tailed information for configuration please refer to the 3
rd
party switch user
guides.
Note: The configuration must be done through the console port of the 3
rd
party switch and the 3
rd
party switch must comply with RFC1493.
