Selecting the Remote Port Baud Rate
The switcher can operate at the 9600, 19200, 38400, and 115200 baud rate. This variable
can be viewed and changed from the front panel, as follows:
1. Select Serial Port Configuration mode: Simultaneously press and hold all Control
buttons (Enter, Preset, View, and Esc).

The blinking Contr
ol button indicates the baud rate as follows:
Enter — 9600 Preset — 19200
View — 38400 Esc — 115200
All Control buttons light with
one blinking.
Press and hold the buttons.
2. Release the Control buttons.
NOTE: If front panel Lock mode 2 is selected (the default setting) and you try to
perform step 3, the actions are ignored and the Enter, Video, and Audio buttons
flash (see Setting the Front Panel Locks (Executive Modes) on the next page).
3. Change the baud rate: Press and release the button that corresponds to the desired
value.
