A.1.5 Product key
The product key is an 11-c haracter alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies a product. With it, you
can retrieve the following product data:
–Typedesignation
– Manufacturing date
– Complete order c ode (degree of completion at the time of shipment from Festo)
– Revision (hardware/software version)
– Serial number
– Customer-order-related information.
You can obtain these product data in the internet at www.festo.com Support/Do wnloads. Enter
the product key in the search field here.
You can get help with a click on the Help button in the search field or the rating plate next to the search
field.
For more and more products, there is a data matrix code on the rating plate, which in-
cludes the direct link to the mobile support portal and the product key of the product.
