Rejector Troubleshooting
This section provides only basic rejector troubleshooting for the
Proline and Servotec rejectors. For detailed information, or for
information on other rejectors, refer to the appropriate rejector
manual.
Proline Rejector Troubleshooting
The rejector is operating erratically
1. Is sufficient oil getting to the rejector? Check the oil level in the
oiler (on some models only).
2. The air supply may be erratic. Verify the air pressure is in the
proper operational range for the rejector.
3. Check to see if the cylinder is binding by shutting of the air
pressure to the rejector and moving the rejector in and out by
hand. If it is binding, rebuild the rejector with a rebuild kit.
4. The rejector Pulse Width function may need adjustment.
Contact IDC Customer Support for assistance.
The rejector remains extended
1. Is sufficient oil getting to the rejector? Check the oil level in the
oiler (on some models only).
2. Turn the FT-70’s power off. If the rejector remains extended,
repair or replace the Rejector Assembly.
3. Close dip switch S2-8 on the FT-70 processor card and then
turn cycle the power.
If LED 2 remains on, replace the processor card.
If the warning beacon is on and LED 2 is off, replace the
power supply.
