Install the Slant Support Braces
1.Attach the slant brace upper mounting brackets to the vertical
support pipe using the supplied pipe clamps. Leave the clamps
loose enough so that you can slide the brackets to make adjust-
ments.

Note
The pipe clamp is only temporary. After final positioning
adjustments are made, you will spot weld the supports into place
and remove the clamp.

Support Brackets
If you are performing a high mount or low mount, install the
slant braces. You can install the braces on either side of the
vertical support pipe, depending upon available clearance
from the conveyor and other objects. Refer to drawing I-
00401 and I-00415 in the FT-50 and FT-70 Installation and
Service Drawing Pack
