The message “Error >> +999.9999%” occurs because in this case the
reference voltage is 0.
3. Press o to identify this as the DMM zero-scale end point. The displays change to:

Use the numeric keypad to set the calibrator to a point near the end of the DMM
range. (This example uses 19.9V.) The displays change to:

Use the output adjustment controls to adjust the calibrator’s output for a reading of
19.9V (the reference value) on the DMM. The displays change to:

Press Sto identify this as the full-scale endpoint for the DMM range.

To check the linearity error of the DMM, select an output at a linearity checkpoint
somewhere in the middle of the range, such as 10V. Entering 10V changes the
