Chapter 4: Operation
 Action Expected outcome 

Turn the feed roller flow control valve between 1 and
10.
The speed of the feed rollers decreases and
increases.
o
16 Close the hopper tray. The feed rollers stop.
o
17 Reduce the engine speed to idle. Allow the machine to run for 30s.
o
18 Push the orange or green hopper tray buttons. The feed rollers do not turn.
o
19 Open the bonnet. The engine shuts down.
o
20 Close the bonnet.
o

Do the following for each E-Stop button.
o
a. Restart the woodchipper.

o
b. Lower the hopper tray.

o
c. Increase the engine speed to maximum RPM.

o
d. Push any green hopper tray button. The feed rollers turn forwards.
o
e. Push the E-Stop button. The feed rollers stop or the woodchipper
shuts down.
o
f. Reduce the engine speed to idle.

o
g. Reset the E-Stop button.

o
22 Turn the key to the off position and remove it from the ignition.
o
1 Red stop bar 3 Green forward button
2 Orange reverse button 4 E-stop
