• Image Compression
Purpose:
To specify the image compression level.
Values:
• Max E-Mail Size
Purpose:
To specify the maximum size of e-mail that can be sent, within the range of 50 K bytes to 16384 K bytes. The default
is 2048 K bytes.
• File Naming Mode
Purpose:
To specify the detailed setting for file name.
Values:
• Create Folder
Purpose:
To specify whether to create a folder when saving scanned images.
Values:
• Prefix/Suffix String
NOTE:
• This item is displayed only when File Naming Mode is set to Add Prefix or Add Suffix.
Purpose:
To specify the texts that are added to the file name.
Print from USB Defaults
To modify the defaults for the Print from USB Defaults menu.
NOTE:
• The value marked by an asterisk (*) is the factory default setting.
• Layout
Purpose:
To automatically enlarge/reduce print documents when you print directly from a USB storage device.
Values:
Higher Sets the image compression level to Higher.
Normal* Sets the image compression level to Normal.
Lower Sets the image compression level to Lower.
Auto* Sets the default file name.
Add Prefix Adds texts in front of the file name.
Add Suffix Adds texts after the file name.
Off* Does not create a folder when saving a scanned image.
On Creates a folder when saving a scanned image.
Auto* Automatically enlarges/reduces print documents to fit the paper.
Off Print documents that are larger than the paper are automatically reduced to fit the
paper. Print documents that are smaller than the paper are printed as they are.
