NOTE:
• The maximum number of envelopes that can be loaded in the PSI is one.
• If you do not load an envelope in the PSI right after it has been removed from the packaging, it may bulge. To avoid jams,
flatten the envelope before loading it in the PSI. When flattening the envelopes, firmly press down on the entire surface of the
envelopes as shown below.
• If an envelope is still not fed correctly, curl the edge of the envelope as shown in the following illustration. The amount of the
curl should be 5 mm (0.20 inches) or less, 2 or 3 mm (0.08 or 0.12 inches) is recommended. The area of the curl should be
8 – 10 mm (0.32 – 0.39 inches) from the top edge of the envelope. Do not curl the envelope too much or make a crease.
• To confirm the correct orientation of envelope, see the instruction on the Envelope/Paper Setup Navigator on the print driver.
