Imprinter Error
When an error occurs in the imprinter, one of the following error codes appears on the LCD of the scanner's
operator panel.
A0:B2 Imprinter error (RAM)
A1:B3 Imprinter error (communication timeout)
A2:B5 Imprinter error (back-side print head)
A2:BB Imprinter error (front-side print head)
A3:B6 Imprinter error (EEPROM)
A4:B8 Imprinter error (ROM)
Take the following measures.
● Refer to the fi-680PRF/PRB Imprinter Operator Guide to check if the print cartridge is installed correctly.
● Reconnect the imprinter cable.
● Turn the scanner off then back on.
If the problem persists, write down the error code and contact the distributor/dealer where you purchased this
product. Refer to the contact information in the Contact List or the Contact for Inquiries section in Safety
Precautions bundled with this product and make an inquiry.
