Setting the Automatic Control of the Paper Separation Force [Automatic
Separation Control]
Select whether to control the paper separation force automatically for each document type.
Enabling this function reduces multifeeds, pick errors, and paper jams.
1 Start up the Software Operation Panel.
Refer to Starting Up the Software Operation Panel (page 193).
2 From the list on the left, select [Device Setting 2] → [Automatic Separation Control].
3 Specify whether to enable or disable [Automatic Separation Control].
