If paper jams occur frequently, take measures according to Paper Jams/Pick Errors Occur Frequently (page 182).

Precautions bundled with this product and make an inquiry.
Paper Jam (Pick Roller Error)
When a paper jam occurs in the ADF, the following error code appears on the LCD of the scanner's operator
panel.
J1:50 Paper Jam (Pick Roller Error)
Take the following measures.
● If this error occurs, check if the document meets the requirements described in Documents for Scanning
(page 58).
● If documents remain in the ADF, pull the documents out of the ADF.
● If documents remain in the scanner, refer to When a Paper Jam Occurs (page 153) to remove the documents.
● Refer to Replacing the Pick Roller (page 139) to check if the pick rollers are installed correctly.

Multifeed
When a multifeed occurs, one of the following error codes appears on the LCD of the scanner's operator panel.
