Cut the waste tubing to appropriate length. It is important that the tubing is not bent and
will not be submerged in liquid during the run.

Note:
If the tubing is too short, replace it with new tubing. Do not lengthen the tubing as this
might cause obstruction of the tubing.
Fasten all waste tubing securely to the waste vessel.4
Plug unused valve ports
It is recommended to plug all unused valve ports with stop plugs before starting a run. See Tubing
connectors, on page 421 for information about connectors.
