The charger identifies defective batteries. In that case,
replace the batteries by a new set. Otherwise there is
the danger that individual cells have different capacities
so that you will no longer obtain the normal operating
time with the instrument in battery operation.
How to handle alkaline batteries
– Please remove the batteries from the instrument if it
has not been operated for a longer time.
A Attention:
Leaking batteries may cause severe damages to the
instrument! You should always only use leak-proof
batteries and remove them from the instrument after
turning it off.
H Note:
Used batteries are special waste and have to be
disposed of according to legal requirements!
In the interest of environmental protection, we recom-
mend that you only use rechargeable batteries.
