Operation
Echo comparison
You can compare the echo of any reflector of your
choice with the reference echo. The displayed result is
the dB difference of the two echoes.
H Note:
The dB difference is independent of any possible gain
variation.
– Choose Ha dB or Hb dB as measured value.
– Position the A gate over the echo.
– Select the function REFMOD.
– Activate the function by means of the right-hand
rotary knob.
The dB difference between the reference echo and
the reflector echo is now displayed as the measured
value.
