Global Settings
29. MIDI Clock Mode: Sets the 3rd Wave’s mode of sending and
receiving MIDI clock messages:
off: MIDI Clock is neither sent nor received.
out: MIDI Clock is sent, but not received.
in: MIDI Clock is received, but not sent.
in-tempo-sync: MIDI Clock is received and synth synchronizes with
BPM only, it does not synchronize to the downbeat.
30. MIDI Start/Stop Sequence: On, Off — When on, the 3rd Wave’s
Sequencer will be triggered to play and stop via external MIDI
command. The external MIDI must be connected to the rear-panel MIDI
or USB ports and MIDI Channel set appropriately.
31. MIDI MPE Mode: off, on — When on, the 3rd Wave responds to
MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE).
32. Export Program Exports the current program to the program
directory (folder) on the 3rd Wave. Connect the 3rd Wave to a computer,
then click on the 3rd Wave icon on your desktop to access this folder.
You can then copy any exported programs to your computer to archive
them.
33. Import Program Imports a program from the 3rd Wave’s program
directory (folder) into the currently selected program slot. To place a
program in this directory, connect the 3rd Wave to a computer, then click
on the 3rd Wave icon on your desktop and locate the
program folder. You
can then copy any 3rd Wave program that you have saved or archived
into the
program folder. After you have copied a program le, press
the
global button. Then use soft knob 1 to scroll to the import program
command and use soft knob 2 (
go) to execute the command and import
the program. Press the
write button twice to save the program on the 3rd
Wave. Importing a single program only loads it into the edit buffer in
memory. Writing the program will save it so it is available after restart-
ing the synth.
34. Bulk Program Export Exports a selected bank of programs to the
program directory (folder) on the 3rd Wave. Connect the 3rd Wave to a
computer, then click on the 3rd Wave icon on your desktop to access this
folder. You can then copy any exported programs to your computer to
archive them.
