9. Press soft button 4 (copy).
10. Repeat steps 3-6 but this time, in Step 5, choose “Current Program
- Part 2” as the destination. This duplicates Part 1 onto Part 2 in the
current program.
11. Press the mode button to return to the main multi-part menu page.
12. Press soft button 2 (pan). Use soft knob 1 to set the panning of Part 1 to
-50.
13. Use soft knob 2 to set the panning of Part 2 to +50.
14. Turn the front-panel pan spread knob fully counter-clockwise to mono.
(This forces the voices to have the same panning instead of ping-pong
per voice.)
15. Play a chord on the keyboard. You will hear a true stereo version of the
program.
16. To increase the stereo presence of the program, edit Part 1 or Part 2
lter cutoff, wave position, envelopes or other settings so that the two
Parts are not completely identical.
To assign multi-parts to individual rear-panel outputs:
1. Press the misc button under the main display.
2. If it’s not already selected, use soft knob 1 to select output routing
from the menu.
3. Turn soft knob 2 (go) to navigate to the output routing page.
4. By default, main is selected in the output routing page. This is the
main pair of stereo outputs.
5. Use the Multi-Part buttons to select any multi-parts that you want to
route to the selected rear-panel output. By default all buttons are active,
so press the Multi-Part buttons to select/deselect the parts that you want
to route.
6. Use soft knob 1 to select the next rear-panel output that you want to
route a multi-part to.
7. As before, use the Multi-Part buttons to toggle on/off any multi-parts
that you want to route to the selected rear-panel output. By default all
buttons are active, so press the Multi-Part buttons to select/deselect the
parts that you want to route.
8. When you have nished, press the write button twice to save the multi-
part routing to the program.
